Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Begin this in depth tour arriving into Delhi. Enjoy a leisurely evening and overnight hotel stay in Delhi.
Day 2 - 3: Jaipur
Appreciate and experience many local sights on a morning drive into Jaipur, the Pink City. Upon arrival be transferred to a local hotel for a two-night stay. Enjoy two exciting days of leisurely sightseeing. Visit Amber Fort by taking an elephant ride to the top or visit some of the many attractions including the City Palace, Hawa Mahal and the Jantar Mantar observatory.
Day 4: Agra
The in depth adventure continues with a drive on to Agra with a side stop at the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Onwards the venture heads through the ghostly city of Fatehpur Sikri before arriving into Agra for an overnight hotel stay. While in Agra visit the world famous Fatehpur Sikri, Amber Fort and the breathtaking Taj Mahal.
Day 5: Orchha
The next part of this exciting journey includes an early drive into the rural area of Orchha. Spent the evening exploring this temple-filled town and enjoy an overnight hotel stay.
Day 6: Khajuraho
Begin the morning heading into one of India's most popular tourist destinations for an overnight stay. Upon arrival into Khajuraho visit some of the many medieval Hindu temples, which are famous for their erotic sculpture.
Day 7 - 8: Khauraho - Varanasi
Embark on an adventure continuing the next part of the journey by taking a rail service to Varanasi. Upon arrival to this holy city, be transferred to a local hotel. Embark on a journey walking through the twisted alleyways and visiting the abundance of temples. Take a boat ride along the Ganges or spend an afternoon at the ruins of Sarnath.
Day 9: Varanasi - Delhi
Enjoy a morning of leisure around the city before taking a flight back to Delhi.
Day 10: Kochi - Munnar
Today's journey will entail flying further South into Kochi, the largest city in Kerala. Rich in both Dutch and Portuguese history, enjoy a day of walking and discovery around this seaside city. Enjoy an overnight hotel stay.
Day 11: Munnar - Periyar
The travels continue with a drive and overnight stay in the scenic surrounds of Munnar. Upon hotel arrival, spend part of the day exploring the local surrounds including the beautiful Munnar tea gardens.
Day 12 - 13: Periyar
Set off on the next chapter of this adventure on a drive and overnight stay in Periyar. Take some leisure time to explore the sights and visit the local attractions including the spice plantation and the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Day 14: Kumarakom
Begin the day with another exciting drive on to the village of Kumarakom. Relax by the lotus-lined Vembanand Lake and enjoy this commonly called "paradise on earth".
Day 15 - 16: Alleppey
Embark on a two-day adventure with a drive in to the picturesque location of Alleppey. Take a boat ride through the meandering canals and lagoons through Kerala's renowned backwaters. Spend time at leisure and enjoy the local culture and experience a traditional Ayurvedic massage.
Day 17 - 18: Alleppey - Varkala
Embark on a stunning drive into the coastal town of Varkala. Enjoy some leisure time at the beach and take a walk to admire the breathtaking cliff top views. In addition, take the time to explore the local temples and palaces.
Day 19 - 20 Trivendrum or Kochi
This wonderful journey will now come to an end. Choose from either Kochi or Trivendrum to end the tour.
