Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive into Delhi and be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
Enjoy the morning at leisure before embarking on an afternoon sightseeing adventure around Delhi. Sit back and enjoy the sights as you are transported through many of Delhi's most famous attractions including the Jamia Masjid, the "Samadhi" of Mahatma Gandhi and the bazaars of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi. Two night stay in Delhi Hotel.
Day 3: Delhi - Srinagar
The journey continues in the morning by flying on to Srinagar. Upon arrival, be transferred onto beautiful houseboat. Srinagar is a pleasure for the tourists; you can experience, at first hand, the beauty of the valley that has attracted the Mughals and the British to it. Afternoon Shikara boat ride in Dal Lake visiting floating/vegetable gardens.
Day 4: Srinagar
Begin the morning visiting the famous Gardens built by Mughal Emperors, Kashmir was a favorite of the Mughal emperors who visited it as often as they could. Afternoon visit Shankracharya Temple nearly one thousand feet above the city. It is devoted to lord Shiva. The site dates back to 2500 BC.
Day 5: Srinagar - Gulmarg (2730m)
The adventure continues with a full day trip to Gulmarg the meadow of flowers, Gulmarg has one of the highest green golf courses, the drive take more or less two hours. Afternoon return back to Houseboats.
Day 6: Srinagar - Kargil
The morning will begin with drive to Kargil town via Sonmarg (meadow of gold) & over Zojila pass at the altitude of 3800 meters while driving to the pass one gets a gorgeous view of lush green meadows and Sind valley, from the pass it is more or less three to four hours drive to Kargil Via Drass the second coldest Village in the world after Siberia.
Day 7: Kargil - Lamayuru
Morning continue drive to Lamayuru is home to one of the oldest budhist monastries in the Ladakh. The drive to Lamayuru, paticularly the last 30 kilometers is an other worldy experience. Vast landscapes with absolutely no sign of life can be so stunningly beautiful.
Day 8: Lamayuru - Leh
Enjoy the morning visiting the spectacularly set Lamayuru monastery founded in the 10th centuary. Later continue driving to Leh. Enjoy a leisurely evening around the local town taking in the scenic surrounds.
Day 9: Leh
The adventure continues with a full day of sightseeing. Visit an assortment of attractions and experience the local Tibeto-Buddhist Culture. Take a tour through the local Buddhist Gompas and Monasteries such as Sankar, Spituk and Phyang where local monks go to pray.
Day 10: Leh
Today set off for a full day excursion of Indus valley visiting Shey Palace- the first capital of ancient Ladakh, following visit the 16th Century Thikse monastery and further visit Hemis monastery- know to be the richest monastic establishment in Ladakh.
Day 11: Leh - Delhi - Agra
The journey continues in the morning by flying on to Delhi. Upon arrival, the drive will continue into Agra. Later visit India's most celebrated monument the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his wife Mumtaz; also explore the Agra Fort, before returning to hotel.
Day 12: Agra - Delhi
The final day of this in depth circle tour will end back in Delhi. Transfer to onward destination
